It might be an idea to look at your TTY settings in case the one that you are using when carrying out the backup doesn't have the standard "USER" ones such as SCH, MTC or TRF etc.

I would agree, make sure you have MTC, SCH and BUG. TRF should have nothing to do with it.

Thank you. Logged into TTY 0. Looks good to me. Any other thoughts?

That print out looks odd. Why does it show the HIST and SIZE if you just printed out ADAN info for tty 0?

Pasted too much data. This is what it looks like.

It looks as if the command used was something like this below as it would print off the history file settings first before any of the TTY's as shown in my example.

What I find odd is that the text is offset and wasn't in the example shown above which is typical on all CS1000 type systems. Are there any TTY's on your system that doesn't has USER = SCH or MTC and BUG etc.

Do you have any "PTY's" configured?. Without wishing to sound rude, but are you accessing the system from the CPSI port "0"?.

No, all the TTYs are configured with USER = SCH MTC and BUG.
We are not connecting to a TTY that has a PTY configured. But there are two configured. TTY 13 and TTY 14
We are connecting to TTY 0

Not sure if we are connecting to CPSI port 0 since we are off site and using a VPN.

How are you connecting to TTY 0 if you are using VPN?

Hit the enter key at the end of the data dump, it's just a header identifier That says hey look, you are in ld 43. It really means nothing more than that. You should also see edd000 when you go into ld 43.

Once again, it really means nothing. Just an identifier and nothing to worry about.

EDD0000 Ready for commands.

@KCFLHRC - Debrap37 is not asking what EDD000 means - but why EDD000 is not being returned when entering LD 43 or when the EDD has completed. Not sure why you're not getting the EDD000, do you get EDD010 when you press the enter key while in LD 43? Try this - Go to LD 44 and type R 2 and wait till it finish and go into LD 43 and see if the EDD000 returns.

This is what suppose to happen when you enter LD 43
