Hi all

I have an ipoffice 500v2 R9.1 with Nortel phones.
The problem I have is that when I program a call log key on the phones and they have
a missed call the indication it goes on but when I see all my calls even when I delete
all the calls the indication is still on. Is this a known issue or it's a bag with the R9.1

Sounds like a lock up.
I have issues even with the 9608 handsets with button modules not releasing statuses of DSS keys. i.e. the red light stays on.
For one customer, they see this as a mission critical fault. They're Italians so if they ring and I cannot look at it they just escalate.
'Can you call this customer now please? XXX rang. He's nearly crying.'

So I understand how important this crap is to some people, particularly the Italians.

I usually delete the key, merge and reprogram. Issue is resolved.
Try that in the first instance.

In your case, the law of diminishing returns says you're not going to get a solution from Avaya for a minor issue on a Nortel handset.

Now experiencing escalation fatigue.

Thanks for your reply holdmusic
I have already try deleting the key and reprogram this clears the call log key but then the problem reoccurs.

After how long?
I had this today on a new system (to me) i looked at. The installer left the passwords, ip addresses and dial in at default. Auto create extn on. Gatekeeper enabled. Sip trunks on. Dhcp server on.
It's not just McDonalds who have clowns.
Changing these things required a reboot. This fixed the issue before i could look at it ( it was on the list).

Try a reboot.

Rebooting solves the issue but as soon you have a missed call you press call log key you
see the missed call but the indicator stays on.

Make sure you're on current release.

Log it with IPOSS if the handsets are supported with this release and you have it. Otherwise, enjoy your.custom feature.

I have the latest version 9.1 no iposs.
I have to convince the customer to change the Nortel phones with Avaya phones.
