We had MeetMe Audio teleconferencing service enabled on our Nortel BCM450 system (BCM450R1, sw version 8.0.1.05.329) about three months ago. Everything was fine until last couple of days when users started reporting random "muting" of participants when the join teleconference.
Randomly, a participant is somehow muted when he joins the conference; he can hear us, but we can’t hear him. If the same participant hangs up and rejoins the conference, same issue still happens. So far, we are able to conclude that it happens to only one random user in any conference. We made no changes to our setup, which leads me to believe that there may be some bug, but I'm no expert. I know Nortel released patch this month, but I would like to see if anyone has seen this before and can shed some light.
