Here's the situation...A call comes in on line 1 and is put on hold for a specific employee. When he attempts to pick up on line 1 from his phone. It picks up line 2 and will not allow him to answer line one. Any help will be appreciated as I would like to have this fixed before he comes back from vacation.

I was thinking the same curly - prime line is set for pool or line 2.

No it does not. We have to select the line to make a call.
When we do try to pick up a hold call on that phone on line one it says transfer to line two.

Fist of all is the line flashing on hold?
Second is it only problematic on the one phone?
Third when you F*0 your line 1 button what is the description?

Yes, yes and if I do feature * 0 it reads "speed dial>" on all phones in the company.

That means line 1 is not programmed to the phone....call your vendor in to program it.
Cant be all phones since somebody is answering it and putting it on hold.....unless it rings in on their Intercom key?.

Does it matter that we can make calls and can even answer calls from that line as long as its not a hold call?

Does it matter to any of the solutions given and a call that has been placed on hold by another phone.

Just switched the phone with one that is hardly ever used. Quick fix for now. Thanks for trying to help.
