Norstar Voice Mail 3.0.10 - Mailbox Locked

This has got to be up there as one of the strangest problems I've ever seen...

Have a mailbox that displays "Mailbox Locked" after logging in.
I have..
1) reset the password, when logging in prompts to change, accepts the change and the "Mailbox Locked" message appears again.

2) Deleted the mailbox and built it again as a new mailbox (same numbers for mbox # and ext #) same issue upon login (Mailbox Locked)

3) Rebooted the NAM - Same issue remains

It's only affecting 1 user, but wondering if anyone else has seen this and hopefully has a solution???

probably u've tried everything ...just one more

delete mailbox
shutdown
power on
build mailbox

and see if it works ... what is the mailbox #?
do you have any other applications on it like acd etc?
 
I've seen it on a flash where a file gets corrupted and a mailbox # becomes unusable. Never seen it on a NAM but this is Nortel and Nortel has many "undocumented features". You may have to, short of defaulting the NAM, just give the phone a new DN and mailbox.
 
you can keep the extn number and point to a new mailbox.
That way the extension will be still usable.
