Norstar, Update name that displays on phone

I have an issue with a Nortel Norstar that a user was added before I started working the system. It appears his name is correct on the station and in voicemail when I access via the Remote Tools. However, when his station is called the display name is incorrect. How do resolve this where the names match?

Do you mean, for example, when Bob calls another extension from his set, it says "Sam" on the display of the extension he is calling?

Under Terminals and Sets enter the ext, press Show,Next,Next. The ext name will be displayed. Press the chg softkey, and enter new name. Press Next when finished.

The name shows correctly under terminals and sets. Is their another location that I can look?

Your Remote Utilities might be reading off of a prior back-up. Try backing the switch up again, then see what happens.
