Norstar sytem Phone call coming in as intercom?

Our system have 7 phone lines. Sometimes the call would come in as "intercom" and we can't put on hold for another extension to pick up. How do I fix this ?
I'm sure there is a simple way of resigning this to a designated line.

 
Sounds like one of the lines is "ring only" on a phone. Call into each phone number/line to see which one it is.
 
Use the park feature instead of hold. You should be able to park any external call and pick it up from any other phone even if that line doesn't appear on the phone.

You may have configured the line as auto-answer and supervised and then reconfigured the line as unsupervised.

Reconfigure the line as manual answer
or reconfigure the line as supervised."

Check Line Data.
may be a assigned Line Type PRIVATE to XXX (Extension) If no line appearance on the set or it was deleted it might work like a E&M target and ring to the target Intercom extension number.

I have figured out how to fix this problem. Norstar m7310 has 7 lines one voice call and one intercom feature. There were more than 7 lines assigned. I unaassigned the lines that were not in service or werent working correctly. The reason why a particular line was ringing on intercom because the system did not know what to do with the line that was assigned beyond the 7th line.
