I've used the F984 to set the startalk time, but am having trouble entering 03 as the year in the year field, it says "invalid date". Is this not Y2K compliant??????? My 616 was able to input the correct time, what gives?

What mroberts said is true about needing that software however I see you mention you have a 6x16 for a phone system...you sure you don't have a startalk mini? and not just startalk? if you have a Startalk Mini then it is not Y2K and is not possible to upgrade.

Yes it is a StarTalk Mini. I've come to the realization that this is an antiquated system and I am most likely going to go with a whole new system. What do you guys think of a CICS 4X16 with a flash or call pilot voicemail? I am still new to this but am learning at a rapid pace. Does this CICS 4X16 allow caller ID to display with out hitting any F keys?

...and that the phone is assigned to ring on those lines also I think?
CICS is probably what you need as it can come 4X8 and be upgraded to 4X16, 8X16 and 8X24.
Stay away form the flash unless you want to pay refurb as the call pilot is a great new system with nifty features and is cheaper also..it comes with 10 mailboxes and you need to purchase keycodes to activate more boxes when needed..this way you do not pay for what you do not need :)

Yes phone required to Appear and Ring on a CLID line to avoid using F811. And unless you can get Flash for less than CP100, don't do it.
