I am trying to link two locations together with VoIP gateways. One location is using Nortel Norstar MICS and the other is a Partner ACS system. We had some spare loop start trunks so I am using those, in conjunction with a MultiVoIP MVP410.
I have configured the VoIP system and all of that works perfectly! Dialing in and out of both locations works. For now the only problem is that the Nortel system only works if I have the lines set on auto-attendant. I would prefer callers to get an internal dial tone, where they can then call internal sets.
After setting the lines to Auto-Answer with and without DISA I get the appropriate dial-tone. Everything seems to work perfectly, except I cannot dial internal sets. Everytime I enter our reception DN, 221 or any other set DN I get a fast busy tone and then the line hangs up. I can dial line pool codes perfectly, and make external calls, but I cannot reach any internal DNs.
