Norstar message waiting indication on T7316e

Can the message waiting indication LED be activated by a Centrex mailbox on a Norstar T7316e set ?
The mailbox is providing the studder dial tone. Can this trip the Red message light on the T7316e set ?
Do we have to request a special signal from the LEC ?
Norstar Mics 6.1 with LS/DS analog trunk lines.

I don't believe that is possible since the centrex system notification is stuttered dial tone .
Message indicator is provided from the Nortel Vmail software.
Maybe someone else might have some different input..... You can get a Flash or CP100 depending on your mbox count.
