I'm new to Norstar system. Just wonder if someome explains how DID works , including wiring ?.

well first off all u need did trunks from telco. 2nd u need a did card for the ksu if you are going to do analog. the did card must be configured. when a call comes in on the did trunk a target line is programmed for where you want the call to go......i.e. a particular set or sets. not knowing your application, that is a very simplified answer. there are some serious limitations on analog did trunks. if you are going to be using a lot of did dns you might what to consider pri which provides digital did trunks with a lot more features but can be pricey.
