No Ringing tone

Hi guys,

Got a bit of a weird one, Got a customer with an Avaya Definity. When anyone rings into the company the customer cant here the call ringing in their ear but the handsets ring onsite fine. I don't think it is a system fault and also Line provider don't think its a line fault anyone else had a similar issue.

Is this a "did" call or after the call has been transfered to the handset?

It is a direct call from any external devise

Which sounds like they are using a headset and are off-site. Are they telecommuting using one-X communicator/agent or IP Agent?

If your talking about a "normal" call coming into the Definity from the outside world via a "did" trunk and the customer is not hearing ringback...but the station is ringing fine...go back to your service providor, they provide ringback not the PBX...ask them to fix the problem...Your probably getting the standard answer from them "Trouble is leaving here OK ! "
