I have Mobile Twinning in use and even though I have the System check box turned on for "Send original calling party information for Mobile Twinning" The twinned mobile device is only receiving the CID for the Main office number.

The CID isn't being blocked by the carrier because we get the CID at the station when twinning is turned off.

Any Ideas?

If I remember correctly, this is reliant on the provider allowing you to do this, no matter if you have the box checked or not. I would call them.

ds3data, h382 is correct just because you recieve it doesn't mean you are allowed to send it back out, only certain providors allow this :)

yes, it looks like the carrier has to provision this feature. I emailed them and they set it up temporarily for me but i'm only getting the last four digits and only to certain numbers called.
Thank you both for your help!

Cool :)

btw, i had a very good ale in London that was similar to your quote called "What the Foxes Hat" tastes great and sounds even better when ordering it after having a few pints.

Ha Ha..... nice :)

so the Carrier (at&t) just provisioned their side but i'm not getting the extension. i'm still only getting the main number.

SC is:
Code: 9N
Feature: Dial
Tele#: N
Line Grp: 50:[9]
Local:
Force Acnt Code:

Any ideas?

what shortcodes are in the ars?

"all of us have untapped potential. that's what the garth marenghi foundation is all about.learning to harness psychokinetic abilities in underprivelaged kids. we've got the full backing of the army, there's already a child down there who's VERY intuitive.

Sorry Tom I should have added that as well. Here it is:

ARS CODE TELE# FEATURE LINE GRP

[9] 11 911 Dial Emergency 1
911 911 Dial Emergency 1
xxxxxxxxxxx Ns2035557600 Dial 3K1 1
011N; 011N Dial 1
0N 0N Dial 1
N; N Dial 1

ARS CODE TELE# FEATURE LINE GRP

Main 911 911 Dial Emergency 0
1xxxxxxxxxx 91N Dial 3K1 80
xxxxxxx 9N Dial 3K1 80
011N; 9011N Dial 3K1 80

This line "xxxxxxxxxxx Ns2035557600 Dial 3K1 1" looks to be forcing the sending of the main line number

you're right, didn't see that until Tom asked for the ARS table and you confirmed it.

Is Ns sufficient then? or do i need something else? and can i make this change w/o affecting outbound dialing during business hrs?

it depends. i assume that shortcode was set for a reason, i.e. you want all calls that match that shortcode to send the main number of the circuit.

i dont know where you are so i dont know what 0N and 011N match?

we're in Connecticut, so 0N is operator assist and 011N is international

Do you prefix the lines with a 9 on Incoming calls?

it's possible that they did so that calling back from their missed call log would work. We are using "9" to access a trunk out. Someone else set this up originally.

Can you confirm with a monitor trace what number is being sent when you test this?

yes, i can. i'll do it and have a look. Thank you!

could you remove the Snumber and test?
we use a ? dial . code for calls and when my ddi is phoned my twinned device shows my ddi number as the caller, not the bearer number.

it seems the code is forcing the cli out.

should show something like 2024561414......p8604327890 if I remember correctly. Then you send the number after the p and it dials the 202xxxxx number (is btw the white house switchboard :) )
