No name displayed on the night service phone 1

Hi all,

Is this a BUG or is like this and it always has been like this. - already check on 3 different sites and releases and they all do the same. (rls 22.46, 25.40b, 04.50w)

When I dial the night service DN, it shows the originate DN and name as usual.
When the ATT is set to night service, and we dial the ATDN "9" in this case, the digital set of the night service only displays the originate DN followed by the "9" but no name ... any idea why?

I bet there is a reason....CPND is Reason set to yes?

I think setting CLS CNDA DNDD will fix it.

In other words, set CLS DNDD on the Nite phone

(DNDD) Dialed Name Display Denied
DNDA Dialed Name Display Allowed

after all this time, always find some funny ones like this one, and thinking that I was looking for a patch

CNDA = Show who is calling
DNDA = Show was being called

Most people should be CNDA DNDD -

Set DNDA to an answering position that needs to know "who was being called so I can answer with their name"
