when i try and boot my pc (im posting this on a laptop) a BSOD appears. So i try and boot my pc in safe mode but once it boots up, and that dialog appears notifying that i am in safe mode, i cannot click on ok as my mouse is not there.
I think the problem is a mouse driver (logitech cordless) that i installed yesterday, as it was a pretty old mouse driver, which may not be compatible with win2k. Any help in getting my mouse to work in safe mode would be great. Thanks.

btw, it is not any hardware problems (besides the mouse) as it was working absolutely fine until i decided to reboot my pc to complete installation of the new drivers.

Hi,

Have you tried plugging in a Normal mouse with a Tail!!

In the Past Win2K has not required a driver to work with this mouse it detects it and works.

Is this a USB device as I think that USB may be disabled in SafeMode

Kind Regards, Paul Benn
