No Message Notificaton on phone

Hello,

I have a phone who's not receiving voice message notifications on their phone. The 'Message For You' is not showing up. I have checked all of the settings using Nortel's management software. The settings are the same as a phone that is receiving voice messages. I made sure in the Voicemail manager that Msg Indication is checked. I have switched the phone, and the phone line. Deleted and recreated the mailbox, and even changed the extension. Could there be some possibility that is the actual wire itself? For some reason even though the mailbox is set up and initalized it is still getting sent to the general delivery mailbox. I know this is a lot of information in one question, but any help anyone can give me would be of great assitance.

Are the calls coming through an Auto Attendant or Custom Call Routing Tree?
Are the extension numbers on the phone and the voicemail box the same?
And what is the Call foward on busy and no answer set to?
Should be the same as feature 985
 
Are you using Unified Messaging?

What type of phone? If it is a single-display-line phone (such as the 7208), make sure that static data & time is not turned on (F#806)
 
Hi,

Sorry to be unwise when it comes to phones as this is not usually my job, but what is Unified Messaging, and how do I find out if I am using an auto attendant or CCR Tree? I know we have an AA set up..so does that mean I couldn't use a CCR Tree?

nashull..the number on the phone and voice mailbox are the same. on busy doesn't forward to any extension, and the forward on no answer goes to one of the voicemail extensions.

I am going to check on the phone itself right now, and will get back to you with any information I may have..

Update: The static date and time is turned off. And after pressing F905 the number is forwarded to the same number as in the Norstar Remote Utils. I've tried moving the phone to another location and plugging it in there. I still get the same issue. When I replace the phone. I still get the same issue. Like I said before...all of the settings match a phone that has worked before. I dunno, I'm borderline thinking of getting a tech out here. Hopefully you guys can help though.

Honestly, at this point I would recommend getting your vendor out there.
