No CDR output

Hi,
I'm trying to activate CDR. I'm not the one that has configure it before, so I'm not sure if it was done properly.
When I execute : DIS-LSSM; I've the server activated but when I try to log into it to get records using SSH or Telnet, I got timeout error.
Any help.

You should be able to log on there
Are you plugged into the Atlantic LAN or Service Port - give your PC 192.0.2.100 255.255.255.0 and see can you PING 192.0.2.3
Then try again

system has to do the hard restart.

this type of issue I am getting frequently if client machine connectivity down.

The system continues dumping cdr data and if the memory full it hangs the ports .

If tried deactivation and activation of sels not resolved; only solution is to restart the system and dont forget to update before restart.

Dis-Lssm has to show the client machine IP address

I successfully pinged the server after changing my PC's IP. However, the SSH connection is not working and Telnet is not accepting my SSH credentials that I am using to connect to the machine. How can I determine the correct credentials to connect and get the CDR?

I was able to connect and receive output. I should use: 'telnet 192.0.2.3 1201'.

Now, I want to connect my PC to the network so that I can access 192.168.10.103 using SSH and access 192.0.2.3 using Telnet. What is the solution? Is it possible to change the destination IP of the CDR to another IP, such as 192.168.10.X

IP Addressort Number is normal
Port 1202 is normal for CDR - 1201 is for alarms etc.

You can not 'join' the Atlantic LAN (192.0.2.0/24) with another IP range
There are in depth possibilities to store and forward using ftp within the 4k but that is beyond a forum like this.

Connect A PC using 2 network cards or connect 2 'Semiconductor Buffers' - one connected to the Atlantic LAN (CDR) and one to the Customer LAN and use a serial cable between them.

EDIT: you could use a router - Cisco or similiar to allow 192.0.2.x onto your LAN but indepth knowledge of Cisco operation would be required - you could also use an internal FTP server within the HiPath to store and forward the CDR but again indepth knowledge is required.

1. Yesterday, I received data from 2018, however today I'm getting data from last disconnection time. Can I conclude, that once data is sent by CDR, it 's no longer available ?
2. Does data sent in real-time ? periodically in specific time range ? or what ?

3. I've two data format forwarded in ports : 1201 and 1202.

Here, there are all information needed and it seems that the data format was configured before (french properties).

The original fault here was 'No CDR output' now that you have it working - that's it.
The 'problem' with the CDR on the HiPath 4000 is that it is very configurable and it depends on that configuration as to what you get out.
It is a complex part of the 4000.
1. There is a configurable buffer on the HiPath which stores the CDR (a limited amount of records) until they are 'released' to a printer/computer etc.
2. If you are connected in real time then the records are in real time - if you are disconnected then the built in buffer will store some until next connection.
3.1 - because it is not provided by the carrier for that call or a flag is set to remove the last few digits (as stated it is very configurable)
3.2 - You are looking at alarm data AND CDR becuaes you are connected to port 1201
3.3 - Yes as stated but again it is too configurable and needs a specialist to organise it to your requirements - it depends on what you want - if you just want a printer output then you already have that - if you are running a CDR database to collect the records and that you can further talk to that database for queries then it can get more complex - you will need outside assistance for this.

Thank you for responses, and sorry to have too many questions.

In fact, I've successfully implemented a Python script that collects the data from CDR server using port 1201.
I have tried to change the CDR format configuration based on the instructions provided by '1rkm1' in this link
However, after applying these instructions, I am no longer receiving any data output from port 1202 (see text in code bloc below), while the output from port 1201 remains unchanged from before.

My objective is to obtain all the necessary data (as in port 1201) in a simplified format, with each record represented in a single line and each piece of information separated by a delimiter. Any assistance in achieving this would be greatly appreciated.

You can have up to 4 selection groups active (SELG 1-4), SELS tells you 1 & 2 are active.

SELG looks OK although you are using different form tables (FTBL) for the output. SELG 1 has THRGCON set to Y so that will only log through connected calls. Setting that to N (like SELG 2) will log everything. SELG2 also logs &ACACT&LOAD, which personally I've never seen used before but if you want it....

Output for SELG1 is DEV1 and SELG2 is DEV2. GEZU shows the mapping from there to ADS terminals which should be LSSM 1,2 etc. I did say send the output when it should be working, but DIS-LSSM shows no connection from IP address/port, so I think you did not do what I asked because you will see a connected session in that output if there is one.

In your SELG you have RESOP set to Y, which means if the BASEDEV is out of service it will switch to RESDEV, which is shown as CDRC in both groups, a central file. AMO DAGR configures those files.

It's possible that with the unconnected tcp device, it has switched to reserve output and put the entries in a file. Look in DAGR to get the file location, copy-dagr to write from temp file to the output file, and copy the file off with Comwin-FT. Setting RESOP to N means 4K will buffer the records until TCP session is reconnect for output.

I re-executed "DIS-LSSM" commands while I'm connected by Telnet, the table shows that my script is well connected.

In fact, I'm not an expert on the Hipath-4000 system. I just want to retrieve CDR records that contain information about the caller/callee, call time, and duration using a Python script and Telnet.
Could you please provide me with the appropriate configuration steps to achieve this?

You don't need to use two outputs. Also, don't use port 1201, because you will get console messages on that port which the call logging receiver then has to strip out. So just use selg 2, pointing to dev2, and connect to 1202. Using 1201 is why you got the hista trace messages in your output and they are nothing to do with call logging.

In selg 2, change the resop to N, so it buffers the records if there is no connection. In the selection table in the selg, change selg also to set that thrgcon to N. Selg 2 is using form 1, so you can check that with reg-ftbl (or dis), you can change it if you want, if you add-ftbl to make a new one, it will complain it's not complete until the last field is added, that's normal, so just keep going. Make a dea-sels:1; to turn off selg 1.

When that's done, make an exe-updat:a1,all; to save the changes. Call logging config is stored in a1 not bp.

If you don't have an OSCC, and it's dual processor, an adp soft restarted (exec-rest:unit,a1,soft or an adp reload might help (exec-rest:unit,a1,reload. A reg-sels must show sels 2 is active, and a dis-lssm:A1 must show a connection from remote port on 1202.
