I'm tyring to do what I think is pretty simple, but having problems.

The client wants a "nights" button.

When not pressed, ring a couple extensions, and fall back to general hunt group vm greeting.

When pressed, go into auto-attendant (different greeting).

I have 2 groups set up:

- Main
- Nights

Main has fallback group set to "nights"

It seems that auto-attendant will only take the "main" route no matter if in night mode or not.

Any ideas?

Night service fallback>Night Service group>user forward to AA SC

Football is not a matter of life and death-It is far more important!!!!

Jamie, what user? Can you elaborate on the 3rd step?

thx

Build yourself a new group with vm on and queuing off and no members. Add this group to night service fall back group of your main group. You can manipuilate your main group leave point as day auto attendant and your new group.leave as night auto attendant.

You could also use a route by call status action in vm pro. It can tell when a group is in night service and take the alternate destination...different message.

There are probably a half dozen other ways to do this.

It's people like you who generalize.
