There has got to be an easyer way. I am doing a new install and have a 406 V2 with PRI and my customer wants the main reception number to be answered by the dispatch desk at night but they want a separate set of three keys on the set for that line so they can visualy see witch call is comming in. I thought i would like to use the night answer fallback for the main huntgroup but I can not figure out how to give it a distinct set of keys.
Any Ideas? Anything would help

Use groups and group monitor buttons. You can route the calls to individual groups and put group monitor buttons on phones for those groups.

What kind of lines do you have. Perhaps you could use line appearance buttons.

Ultimately the customer wants to have three separate buttons on their dispatch phone that rings at night only and they must be different buttons than their dispatch lines.
I am using a DID off the PRI for both their main lines and their dispatch lines. I had planed to use a hunt group and have them log in and out of the group to turn off and on ringing but this does not address the separate keys issue and I had also thought about coverage appearance but I cannot see how to turn on and off ringing on their dispatch phone.

You can use bridged appearance buttons.

The last time I tried this the bridged appearance had to be an actual live phone (can't remember if a spare analog port works but I think it does.)

Use the Night Fallback Group just like you originally intended, but have it fall back to a group called Dispatch that has either an unused analog port or some other phone in the office that will be idle after hours as the only member.

It will ring that idle phone, but it will also ring the dispatch phones on the Bridged Appearance buttons.

The important thing to remember is that (at least in 3.0 the last time I tried this) is that the actual phone in the Dispatch group has to be live and plugged in and it must also ring as well. So make sure that it isn't someone who sometimes works late at night.
