Hello

New DID's

I have programmed a few to confirm, still acting as a non did

is there anything that needs to be change to the PBX
to activate these did's. I was advise they should be working. but programmed a few and still not acting as
direct numbers...just none direct.

Thanks

Do you have one or multiple switches? And has this been confirmed from the LEC/CLEC that your range is working on your incoming did trunks?

Another thing to check is if you have an ATDN assigned to your trunk group. You can configure a DID route with that turned on, and it would ack as a directed trunk group, as opposed to DID. If so, remove that and try again.

we have one switch basically...
I will check to see if they
have confirmed the lines are working on our incoming
ti or trunk...?

techgrl2. I for one would like to know what happens when you call the DID number. Is it one of these?

you call the DID and then...

A. - another comapny answers
B. - get fast busy
C. - hear ring but not on phone with DID number
D. - no ring - no sound - just silence
E. - rings at attendant or where main number rings
