Im trying to network a BCM50 with BCM400. I'm using VoIP trunks with H.323 between the two. No matter what extension I dial, it goes to the prime set on the destination BCM. Here are my specs.

Private and received numbers set to 3 on both BCM's
Private network type is CDP
Private DN length is set to 3 on both BCM's
Virtual private network ID is set to 1 on both BCM's
VoIP lines are added to the same pool
My route is using the VoIP pool
I created a route in my VoIP trunks using the other BCM's IP
GW type is BCM
GW protocol is CSE
VoIP protocol is H.323

Any help would be much appreciated!

The way I discribed will allow you to dial extensions directly. Your routing table said 71 so I assume your dns are in the 71X range. On the other side set your recieved dits to rec 71x and it should work.

I also noticed that you had calling plan as CDP but you also had a Location Code set up.

Well I finally got it to work just dialing the 3 digit extension. My only question is why it only works when I set absorb to all. If its set to all, wouldn't it absorb the first digit and just send out the last 2?

No the Absorb only affects the Desti Code not the other numbers.
example:
Desti 72 Abosrb 0
If you dial 72300 then all digits go out.

Desti 72 Absorb All
You dial 72300 only the 300 will go
