This is a bit maddening... I've done a keyword search here and on Google and found some very good advice. Unfortunately, I still can't rsh into my Red Hat 7.1 system from my Solaris Quick Restore backup host. Here's what I've done so far:
1) Made certain the "disable" line in /etc/xinetd.d/rsh is equal to "no"
2) Added the Solaris box I'm trying to come in from to /.rhosts
3) Added a "rsh" line to /etc/securetty.
4) Restarted xinetd.
I still get "Connection refused" from the Linux box.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
