I recently converted a customer to a larger system with VOIP capability from their partner system they let me have the Partner switch and the externat Patrner Mail V3 4 port. I was trying to gain access to the tech field to erase the current configuration per request of the customer. I can get in under the serial # but I cannot gain access to the s field after I perform shutdown. Any help is appreciated. I am trying to build this for my freinds new business.

9997#->Serial#->Hangs Up->Power Off->Power On->9997#->123456# You're In!

How would I do this from Procom by typing the commands or can I not. Thanks in advance I will try that.

No, you should do it by calling into a port and enter it by touch tone. You can reset the entire system using a CPM command found in the root of the drive, but that was designed for factory tech resets. It's far easier to do it by phone, and faster.

Cool thanks I never got familiar with this particular VM system & I am glad I found this site. Now if someone could direct me to a manual on this VM system I would be realy happy. I only have a manual for the Partner Mail VS.

Thanks again I realy apreciate it.

That system is no longer manufactured by Lucent or Avaya, so documentation is becoming scarce. You can use the manual for the Partner Messaging R1 if you disregard the LAN stuff, the software is pretty much identical otherwise. See for that manual. Of most use will be the very last page, which is the programming tree. Another very similar system is the Merlin Mail.
