We have run a Merlin Legend Intuity Audix Voice messaging system v 2.0 with USl Unix System V Release 4.2 version 1.1 patch U2.1. OK with that said here's the issue I'm having, our extensions have a range from 110-399, 110 being the operator. We now have our night service enabled all day long and people calling in hit whatever extension they are trying to reach however when they hit 0 for operator it defaults to the general mailbox instead of ringing to 110. Internally you can dial 0 and it will works fine. Can anybody give me some tips and get me going in the right direction?????

Thanks

1) Check the system parameters to see that the call answer operator is 110. 2) Check on the AA, to see that you are transferring the call, and not sending it straight to the mailbox (Call Answer).

In the Audix, do a "list attendant"; hopefully they will have labeled the attendant extensions as "Main Day" and "Main Night", or some such thing. When you figure out which subscriber (extension) they are are using for the night AA, do a "change subscriber xxx"; go to page 3 and verify that both the time-out and zero-out settings are set to transfer 110. Be aware that this will affect the actual operation at "Night" when the console is unattended.

Thank You Pepperz and Franke for pointing me in the right direction. I got it working now. Now the only problem i'm having is when the receptionist gets 2 calls in simultaneously, she cannot transfer them. She has to overhead page for the person to pick up the line. I believe I need to go to cntl progm in switch admin and add some buttons. Does this sound correct?? Once again thanks.

Probably, for some (stupid) reason, DLC's by default are only assigned 2 SA buttons, at a minimum, you should assign at least 1 SA-Orig button allowing her the ability to transfer calls.
