I have limited knowledge about FoxPro 9; but have done hours of trial and error. I need help with this as I have struggled now for many hours.Application: Form will be used for invoice at point of purchase. My form is working except for my preview and print command buttons. It is adding the record to my database and my report is working but the preview and the print does all records including the last record (that currently is on my screen/form). I only want to see and print the last recordIn old Fox Pro my command would be:REPORT FORMAT "C:\INVOICE.FRX" REST ENVIROMENT PREVIEW (rest meaning the last invoice)Thanks for your help.

Thanks Olaf and JRB

I have printed out everything (all 25 pages) will study that, re-examine the Garfield videos and write a new report. And if I have questions I'll come back to you guys. I'll also let you know how Report #2 comes out next week.

Yes, I still confused but confused on a much higher level now.

Take the week end off you guys you deserve it!!!

I wanted to update everyone that put in helpful suggestions for my original question. It took me quite a long time with many interruptions to try each and every approach. I realize now, that I didn't make it any easier I still used Version 2.5 terms. I did print out all pages of this forum and was coming to the conclusion that my original form and report wouldn't work and I should start fresh. But determined to give it one more hour I tried Olaf's suggestion to set a filter property of <to RECNO()=InRecno. Darn, if it didn't work.

Thanks to all
