I lose the use of the keyboard after hitting the slash key for the menu. I've deleted the directory and rebuildt it again. Still can't use the keyboard, i was told a line needed to be entered some with the following statement "keyboarddrv=sys". Does anyone know where this should be added or another fix for this issue. I don't think replacing the PC will help if this is the case.

Which ICS? 120 or 140/160?

I'm assuming you aren't in the USA as the 120 is known there (and on this web site) as the IVS and the 140/160 I think continued to be known as the 2400.

I am in the USA. This is an older NEAX 2400 ICS, pre IMX, the MAT is DOS based.

Try Config.sys or possibly config.nt But saying that, I couldn't find the keyboard in my version.

If you still have the disks I suggest you verify the files against your directory files. See if any are missing. In that old DOS MAT the config files gets modified, so be careful replacing it.

If you are still struggling, get back to us as I have always just copied the dos files from one machine to another with just an addition to the system.ini file (you get garbage on the screen without it).
