I've a problem with analog modem on MP (RS1 Port)
It responding to an incoming call but it doesn't make handshaking.
It's mute.
I setup modem like above intrusion but not successful.
1307>xxx>0
4010> port 1> a valid extension..
Jump 4 switch is ON
I've many Pabx in Italy with same problems,i try to solve it many times but no works.
Someone help me?

Are you using ISDN or voip for outbound? Try using a pstn outbound line! If there are multiple problems then the one common thing is your set up!

Hi Ozzie
I use ISDN line only, but with Pstn line is the same.
When i monitoring an incaming call ( with ISDN analyzer) i receive the "connect" but it doesn't make handshaking.
In default configuration it works correctly, maybe there's wrong into programming database.
Thank a lot

It's awkward to advise where to start for you as in Oz there is a test we can run called a Molds test. The M stands for modem (we also have a folds test for faxes) but I don't know what the rest of the acronym stands for. And I would normally go down that avenue next. So sorry from here I can't help other than to ask have you checked all the settings in Cmd 40?

Something in your post does not sound right. You mention an analog modem on RS1 and SW 4 on. With SW 4 on, you are turning on the internal modem. SW 4 off is for an external modem.
For the internal modem, make sure CMD 4011>1>=7.

My IPS manual (issue 4) doesn't seem to have 40 yy=11. What does the manual say it's for and what issue manual do you have (or is it in a TIB)?

It's an old bit that still exists and sometimes jumps up to bite you.

Tanks guys
I refer to INTERNAL modem and 4011>1> is set to 7
Why in default configuration it works normally?
There's something wrong in my configuration database, but what?

Hi guys
I've solved my problem with analog modem on MP Card ( 2000 IPS)
i changed cm>4013>1>1 ( it was set on 0)
The item is "DRS signal sent to terminal" 0 is = low level
Now it response e make handshaking.
Tank's a lot everyone.
Bon
