Name display on 1120e 2

Hi all

i'm on cs1k 5.5 using 1120 phones. for some reason i can't get the names to display on the phone when people call from extension to extension. only the extension shows up. for example if "JOE BLOW" calls me i only see "5702" on my phone
not "5702 JOE BLOW". What am i missing??

i got SCH3607 "Dialed Name Display cannot exist if CNDA is not configured"

set dndd then cndd then dnda (I think) it may end up being reverse cnda dndd - test other way first though

no it won't let you either way. I must have cnda in the cls...

no it's always been cnda dnda on all my phones.

Information line display
An IP Phone 1120E has a one-line information display area with the following information:
• caller number
• caller name
• feature prompt strings
• user-entered digits
• date and time information (if the IP Phone is in an idle state) or Call Timer (if provisioned in the Telephone options menu)

The information in the display area changes, according to the call-processing state and active features.

Because the IP Phone 1120E only has a one-line information display area, you are prompted to scroll through any additional lines of information.

During an incoming call, only the Directory Number (DN) displays if the caller name is greater than 10 characters.

Press the flashing arrow to display the caller name.

I ran into this when one of our customers started using 1120E's for the first time.
