I need some clarification on CCR which I don't find in the manuals.

1) Is there a way to see the structure and values of an existing CCR from an M7310 (without printing) ?
2) Is there a way to print the CCR to screen (via telnet or other means) ?
3) Can the VM reports be printed to screen in the same way ?
3) Where are the defaults for pressed keys (where calls go if * # or 0 are pressed) when a call is handled by CCR, and can they be changed ?
4) Where is the call sent if it 'falls off' the end of a tree, that is, it isn't answered ?
5) Where is the value to set for how many rings before it 'falls off' ?

Thanks for the reply.

I have the NAM manual, and have read through the CCR section, as well as the rest of it, but I didn't find answers to my specific questions.

Question 1) No
Question 2,3) What version of NAM? is there a NIC card? Video Card?
Question 2nd 3) 0 can be changed *# can not.
Question 4) If no key is pressed it will follow the same path as 0. If any key is pressed and then none other call will disconnect.
Question 5)It's about 10 seconds and it's not adjustable.

The NAM is 4.1 and it does have both a NIC and a video card. Hooking up the video card soes me an OS/2 desktop, and telnetting into the IP gives me an OS/2 command prompt.

As Marv wrote, use NVM. I wrote a quick setup guide for setting up a NAM to use NVM many years ago. It shows how to use a modem to connect to the NAM. An easier way, if the NAM has an ethernet port, is to use a crossover ethernet cable. Then you login to the NAM per my guide and start the NVM software. You'll have to change the IP address of your PC to be in the range of the NAM (192.168.110.10), so change your PC to 192.168.110.11

thanks to everyone. I got in on the LAN connection using Norstar Voicemail Manager.

just a quick clarification:

in CCR,
if I press zero, the call goes to the atdt assigned to the greeting table which has the CCR tree assigned
if I press nothing, the call goes to the same place
the operator atdt set in F982 is not involved once a call goes to a CCR tree

so now:

where do I make the change so that "press zero" sends the call to a DN I choose
if I make that change, do I have to change the general mailbox DN to be the same ?
can I make the "press nothing" and press zero paths two different DNs ?

Change atdt DN to what you want. If you leave the atdt setting in the table blank then F982 atdt goes into effect, but the table atdt takes presidence.

If you want your attendant to see "Message waiting" on the phone change the DN of mail box 100 (depending upon your DN length this could be 10 or 1000 or even 10000) to the DN of your attendant. Unfortunately no you can't make the "do nothing option a different DN.
