Hi,

In which directory do I put the .WAV files so that I can use them as background music in MxOne?

It's not were nice to queue when all you can hear is silence...

ok, for ACD and Hunt groups you need the command RAGAI;

RAGAI:GRP=1197,CONT=1;

Do I have to do something more?

The file is still stuck in /eri_egx_root/nfs_root/rva/new/
/eri_egx_root/nfs_root/rva/current/ is empty...

Still silence.

MDSH> ls -la /eri_egx_root/nfs_root/rva/new/
total 29860
drwxrwxrwx 2 root root 4096 Feb 1 10:48 .
drwxrwxrwx 4 root root 4096 Feb 13 2007 ..
-rw-r--r-- 1 29000 snlev0 30530808 Feb 1 10:48 message001.wav
MDSH>

I see that the group of the sound file is snlev0??

did you execute my procedure? you must be logged on as root (or use su) to handle the file...

Ok.

I logged on as root. su -
I changed the file settings with
chmod 777 /tmp/message001.wav

MX1LIM1:~ # new_voice_prompt /tmp/message001.wav

/eri_egx_root/nfs_root/rva/new/message001.wav Success!

Please note that in order to activate the new prompts,
AUXVS must be restarted with the command:
media_gateway_start -lim 1 -restart -function AUXVS

MX1LIM1:~ # ls -la /eri_egx_root/nfs_root/rva/new/
total 29860
drwxrwxrwx 2 root root 4096 Feb 4 13:05 .
drwxrwxrwx 4 root root 4096 Feb 13 2007 ..
-rw-r--r-- 1 29000 snlev0 30530808 Feb 4 13:05 message001.wav

As you can see there must be a directory mask set... Since the settings are changed back to 644.

MX1LIM1:~ # media_gateway_start -lim 1 -restart -function AUXVS
Are you sure? (Y/N): Y
executed
MX1LIM1:~ # ls -la /eri_egx_root/nfs_root/rva/new/
total 29860
drwxrwxrwx 2 root root 4096 Feb 4 13:05 .
drwxrwxrwx 4 root root 4096 Feb 13 2007 ..
-rw-r--r-- 1 29000 snlev0 30530808 Feb 4 13:05 message001.wav
MX1LIM1:~ # ls -la /eri_egx_root/nfs_root/rva/current/
total 8
drwxrwxrwx 2 root root 4096 Feb 13 2007 .
drwxrwxrwx 4 root root 4096 Feb 13 2007 ..

I have also tried to change the owner and group to root and then I ran media_gateway_start -lim 1 -restart -function AUXVS
But the message001.wav file doesn't move to the
/eri_egx_root/nfs_root/rva/current/ directory.

ok then, only things I can think of is:

file is longer than 60 minutes or file has wrong codec/sampling rate...

Hi,

After an upgrade to version 3.1 it is now working. There must have been something wrong whith version 2 of Mx-One.

Thanks for your help...
