I have an MXe system with redundant HD, one of the disks was taken out for a couple of weeks, during that and due to power failure, the system was rebooted many times with a single HD, recently when the other disk was re-put and made the mirroring process,
the rebuild went smoothly, but at end it gave me a Hard Fault on that slut, and the Fault LED of the disk went from flashing green to orange,

I made a reboot once without and then with the new disk and getting the same result,
(Hard Fault),

My question is the process of clearing the sockets,if i go with it,it clears Soft or Hard faults or Both?

Just to confirm, the disk (which was installed is the originally one and in its slut) was reinstalled not a new one,

Any idea?

Clearing the Raid ID (Sockets?) was likely cleared when you rebooted without a drive in the slot.

When you reinserted, it either recognized the drive or did not but either way started the mirror.

When the mirror failed due to hard fault, it is telling you the drive is faulty. Further troubleshooting with that drive is pointless.

Replace the drive.
