MWI Light on 2 DNs 3

Had to delete and rebuild a mailbox from our receptionist's phone. She has 2 DNs and both have mailboxes. Problem is that before, the red light would come up for both, if either had a message. The DNs are 2251 and 2540

Now, its only coming up for 2251. Is there something amiss in the code? Or is it part of MerMail?

Does the mailbox list both DNs for MWI in Mermail?

They both only list themselves under MWI.

the 2251 stats show only 2251

the 2540 stats show only 2540

Why not just have 1 Vmail and put both Ext as users.

Why change the engine if all you need is to change the spark plugs.

Because she wants 2 separate mailboxes. She says "there's a reason for it." Been like this for 9 years.

Press the same key to do that....it's just confirming that the DN's are different and that is what you REALLY meant to do(kind of a typo check).

If that's what she wants and it makes her feel better, jst do it (even if there IS a better way).

Ah, there we go. I can't be too sure about this thing sometimes.

No offense taken John. This place will be nonexistent within the next few years. Laborer cuts and downsizing happening allover the place.

Thankfully the amount of servers and computers are generally staying the same, otherwise I'd be leaving this place sooner than I'd like to. (which will be within the next 6 months or so anyway.)

Good news is, we got a certified Nortel guy to take a look at our system's voicemail plague. After talking it over with his engineer, they concluded that we are probably going to need a new hard drive. Our current one (we've had since early 96) makes a loud buzzing noise (which I didn't know was the HD this whole time) and the scheduled audits never complete and get disk errors.

Just waiting on summary report and quotes. Hopefully these people arent too stubborn and finally invest in fixing this thing!
