I want the call flow to go as follows but can't get it working.
I want a direct call to a station to cover to a hunt group. I want it to ring one member of the hunt group and then go to a voicemail box which many people can access. I have created a virtual 48031 which covers to voicemail. I have made 1st cover point of station to be the hunt group and the second point to 48031. It never goes to voicemail however. I have tried the second point being a VDN and in the vector I route to 48031. Still doesn't work. I have tried making the hunt group 48031 ( which is the Octel mailbox number) and sending the cover path of the hunt group to voicemail but this doesn't work either.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated

I have actually figurerd out a way to make it work myself. If I make the second coverage point a remote cover to the indialable mailbox it works.
I'd like to keep the thread open though to see if anyone has any better ways to make this work without having to use remote coverage

I had this set up in a call center. I created a new coverage path and pointed the call to the vdn which points to the hunt group. I'm not sure about the ring once and then go to voice mail. You may be able to add this to the coverage path, I'm not sure.
The way I set it up was once it went to voice mail and the caller opted to leave a message, voice mail recognized where it came from and dropped the call to that agents voice mailbox. It was cool because then I didnt need to record a auto attendant and no one had to waste their time checking a general vm box. Now, if you administer direct agents, the cms/bcms reports were always a headache.
