Hi,

I have a question regarding setting up Music On Hold.

I have inherited the job part way through the setup and have run into a problem.

Callers that are placed on hold as well as callers to one of our three ACD queues can hear the music.

Caller to the other two of our Queues don’t.

I have compared the programming of the three queues and the only difference that I can find is as follows:

In the queue that works, MWC=NO (MWC stands for Message Waiting Center)

The queues that can't hear the music are programmed MWC=YES.

Could this discrepancy be the source of my problem?

Thanks for your help.

Peter.

Hi Peter,

1. You put MWC to YES for Meridian Mail.
2. Check the the 'nonworking' ACDs and look for MURT. This is where you put the route number for the music route.
