I have music on hold working, when I call out and place them on hold the music plays fine but when callers call in and placed on hold they get dead air. I've tried deleting the music route and trunks already and rebuilding them.
This is what is on the switch maybe it will help with troubleshooting the problem:

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Alex

I would have to take it out and re build it, I'll try it anyway.

you don't have to take out the out to change the icog

It's not getting any smarter out there. You have to come to terms with stupidity, and make it work for you.

It doesn't let you change ICOG prompt in the Music Route, You have to out the route and re build it. Goes to show you how much you know. Give it a try and see how stupid you feel now!

I was able to fix the problem after starting from scratch, my problem was the cross connect going to one of my trunks 068 1 00 00 was loose, Hate 110 block they are really bad and couldn't even tell that it was off.

Thanks for your help thattekguy,

Alex

Perhaps you should step out of the glass house prior to throwing a stone....failing to re-verify wiring is a rookie mistake. Look how much extra work you had to go through and your solution was completely unrelated to what you thought the problem was.

Don't be dissing someone because he offered an opinion. NO one here is perfect nor knows EVERYTHING ('cept maybe JP) and will make mistakes.

Also, this is his "footer", he did not type it just for you..........

It's not getting any smarter out there. You have to come to terms with stupidity, and make it work for you.

Yes, wiring is a rookie mistake but the wiring was checked prior to all this and Nortel has had related problems with music on hold. They have a patch out for it. I'm dissing him because of the "It's not getting any smarter out there. You have to come to terms with stupidity, and make it work for you." comment left by him and not the advise. I also don't think it's his footer and if it is I apologize for my comment.

Alex

It is his footer and on other posts, it wasnt meant personal to you, before anyway.

If the wiring was previously checked how did it turn out to be the cause of the issue at hand?

You come here asking for help and then get an attitude with people helping you?

No one has 100% right answers 100% of the time. JP is the closest though! 99.9% right 99.9% of the time! :)
