Music on hold on transfer - NP Reception transfer

Hi all,

Its been a long while since work on Nupoint and was asked to setup extension dialling from NP receptionship. Have managed to get it working but client is irritated by the spilt second of music on hold being generated after caller dials an extension and before audiable ring tone commences.

Have turned off in every class of service "music on hold on transfer" (trunks, Vmail, extensions). Played about with post DN dialing string in Nupoint (change from S+ to just S) and can't seem to find the solution.

Any ideas....

I just was able to reproduce this. In my case what was happening is I heard the blip of music while an extension was being transferred back to voicemail (which was intended). There were 2 things that I did that could resolve this:
1 - If you let the system say "Please wait while I transfer your call" I don't hear the hold music
2 - If you are transferring to an extension that is rerouted (as is my case) I created a Menu object instead of a Blind transfer and then set the Error, Timeout and Multikey to blind transfer to the extension. Then set the Retry Count and Timeout on the Menu to 0.
