I’m having the following problem on my 81C. It doesn’t want to swap from CPU 1 to CPU 0 (Error Messages

SRPT095 HIRM: cnip 0 9 1 on the remote side 0 is Out Of Service. SRPT026 HB: Remote side health change: 24.
SRPT026 HB: Remote side health change: 26. SRPT096 HIRM: cnip 0 9 1 on the remote side 0 is In Service.
SRPT026 HB: Remote side health change: 24
SRPT026 HB: Remote side health change: 26

In the beginning I didn’t have any problems with this but for the last couple of days; I’m having music on hold problems. When someone on group 0shelf 0, say loop 32 phones an IVR internally the IVR plays when all the agents are logged in and busy, you are suppose to receive music but with no luck. When the number is dialed from externally the music on holds work fine.

When you phone the switchboard also on the same group and they put you on hold no music. But when you phone from group 1 shelf 1 all is working fine.
I’m looking to replace the Conf/TDS and Peripheral Signaling cards. But are not sure if this is going to solve my problem. Any Ideas?

you've got a major problem.. use ld 135 and ld 137 commands to test the standby cpu/cmdu and cni's... the internal moh may just be a bad trunk card.. ld 20 prt mus, you will see one mus trunk in that group. each group gets internal moh from a physical trunk in the group, unless your using a miran music source.. your one card away from not having a switch... not time to panic, but close

I did some test and the problem whith the MOH only seems to be internal. This seems to be happening only on the network shelf group 1 shelf 0 and group 1 shelf 1. No error messages apear and every thing else seems to be working fine.

remote side 0 is Out Of Service. SRPT026 HB: Remote side health change: 24.

that's the line that pulled my chain.. back to the issue at hand, is your music source miran or analog trunks.. ld 20 prt mus return, and test the mus trunks for the groups in trouble.. does the mus problem remain when you scpu.. the cni at 1 and 9 could be both problems.. if you have a spare i would replace it.

That is one of my problems is that the CPU doesn’t want to swap. I’m using Analogue trunks. The weird thing is that the main core’s one Fiber remote IPE on core 1 and on IPE on core 0 works with no problems. When I’m dialing the ACOD for the music route from one of the working loops it works fine. But when I’m dialing the ACOD from one of the faulty loop I’m getting engage tone. Attached is what is happing

Loop 24 and loop 32 share the same IPE shelf. Can this be a Configuration Problem?

As johnpoole posted in his initial reply, each network groups requires a MOH TN in your scenario - Loop 24 is Group 0 and 32 is group 1 (from your TRAC example). List the trunks in the music route and see if one is in Loop 32 or above. If so, enable or listen to the wire for music.

The reason you are hearing it on trunks is probably because they are in group 0....the group with the working music trunk.

I am not sure you have this....but anything you can do to keep music from internal station to station calls will increase the love from your users. Nobody ever said "I wish I heard music when I was calling accross the floor or down to the mail room" - it generally just happens when it is installed by someone who responds YES to MUS in customer data, not realizing MOH on trunks does not depend on MUS in the CDB

I got the MOH to work on all the loops. Except on my attendant consoles. I’m using 2250 consoles, when they put you on hold there is silence I’m even having a problem dialing my route access code from them.

Attached are the current configurations

Did they press the hold key? (I see they have Auto-hold, but I am not sure that performs the same hold) The attendant generally only uses Hold when they need to answer callers in the queue (that have waited a long time without any answer)

For those who don't know, it works like this: Press Loop Key, say One moment please", press Hold, Press RLS, Hear buzz, press next Loop Key, say One moment please", press Hold, Press Rls, go back to first Loop Key and assist them

I believe the only caller to the attn that will hear music is one put on true Hold

Dialing the music route from the console

Try this? Press Barge In, Press Idle Loop Key, Dial 198212 then press #
