Here's our scenario:
I am having an issue with music on hold not playing, instead I'm hearing ringback in it's place.
So here's my scenario:
We have Genesys running on top of our Symposium link and Genesys is monitoring incoming calls for particular CDN's / Route Points in Genesys land.
When a call lands on a CDN the Genesys environment send it to routing instructions loaded on that CDN.
Now here's where the fun begins. We are deploying a new application where we are convering SIP calls to TDM through a voice gateway which has a direct link to a new PRI setup.
My issue is when I dial a CDN through the SIP to TDM application, I am hearing ringback when I should be hearing music.
If I dial the CDN from my office phone directly, I'm hearing music.
So to summarize, when I use the SIP to TDM application, I'm hearing ringback. When I dial the CDN directly from my office phone, I'm hearing the music.
The same routing instructions are loaded on the CDN and I'm calling the same CDN. Nothing is different from the Genesys side of things and I'm seeing the call come in to the Genesys environments in both cases (SIP to TDM and Office phone).
So my question is, where can I look in the PBX to see why this might be happening?
On the new PRI / route I set MUS to YES and MURT to our Music Route Number.
Is there somewhere else that would not allow one call vs the other to access the MOH?
Sorry this is so long, but I had to give the particulars on this interesting setup.
Thanks everyone.
