multi refresh recycle bin

I am running windows 2000 with 398Mb of ram and 20Gb HD. when opening the recycle bin the OS keeps refreshing every second for about 3 minutes. The recycle bin contains 1,488 objects totaling 218Mb. Why does this refresh keep happening?

Is this happen when recycled bin is empty?

I don't know why you keep so many files in it !
If you wanna keep those files, extract them in a temp folder and see if the refresh's still there.

Solved it. There is no continual refreshing when the recycle bin is under 220Mb.

Hope this thread helps someone else.
