Msg light will not go away

I have a phone where the message light will not go away. It says "Message for you"

I have deleted the mailbox and recreated it. Same problem..

Anyone have any idea on what it could be?

Oops - maybe I should clarify that a bit. Feature button followed by the number key and 1.

When i try that it tells me that there are no messages.

Have someone send a message with F1 then use the F#1 and see what happens.

I am guessing it is a t7100 or something like that. Get a T7316 and plug it in on the display you should get the option to cancel the message light.It needs to be a T7316 because it has the 3 keys below the screen. They have not got a voicemail message they have not lifted just asking the stupid question.

Try pressing 'Feature #65' to clear the 'message for you' and the LED.


There are only 2 seasons in Canada, Golf and Snowmobile season.

If nsanto17 is around , I was wandering if you found a solution for this. I'm having the same problem with a customer who is about a three hour drive away. The set with the soft keys sounds like the right way to go!!!
