Hi folks!
I have to move few AVAYA Servers (Virtualized on ESXi 5.5) from one physical ESXi host to another.
Namely AESv6.3, WebLM v6.3 and WFO.
Scenario:
I have only IPO Server Edition 10.1 in my LAB. So I have tried to move the VM between the two ESXi hosts using the OVFTOOL from VMWare.
The move went smooth, I have gracefully shut down the IPO SE on host1. Wait after it shuts down and then started the VM on host2.
Looking into the console output, the IPO starts OK. Then I try to log in through WEB manager and it does not allow me to log in. It just says incorrect password. I am 101% sure my login credentials are correct as I have them stored in my KeePass and they work just fine when the VM is running on its original host1.
Questions:
1. What am I missing? Does the IPO SE detects new "Hardware" and set some restrictive mechanism?
2. Will I be facing the same issues when moving the customer servers AES, WebLM and WFO? How do I overcome these?
3. What is the correct way to move the AVAYA VMs from host to host?
Thanks for sharing your thoughts and tips.
regards
Jou
