Has anyone been able to get a reasonable solution around this? We tried the bridged call appearance but it doesn't pass Caller ID info through. ACD isn't an option because we need all the phones to ring. Any tips or tricks? Thanks.

Unfortunately the extensions are all in different buildings so that isn't quite going to work but thanks for the reply.

One station that can receive calls. Add a bridged appearance and make it ring on your other phones.

Programming below will fix your CallerID on the display for
calls to the bridged extension.

Code:

I got really excited when I looked at your solution but after changing the system features the Caller ID info still isn't passing through for some reason.

I have an extension setup with an X port and then I bridge the extension to multiple stations like you said. All the attendants are doing is hitting transfer -> extension -> transfer and all it says is "Call Group to Inside Sales".

Is there another field I don't have right? Thanks again!!!

I tested this for the link above. It was working for me.

I was testing DID calls to the extension that is bridged.
Depening on the programming of the earlier thread, I either had incoming callerID on the phones with the bridge, or nothing.

With DID calls it does work you are correct there.

I am transferring the incoming calls to the main number to 554 - Call Group. 554 is bridged to 555 - Inside Sales. When 555 looks at there display it says Call Group to Inside Sales.

What I would love to see is the Caller ID go from the attendants -> 554 -> 555 bridged appearances.

The way we are setup is we have 1 main number that everyone calls and the receptionist transfers the calls to the appropriate places. Before we were using cover answer groups but now we want to go bigger than 8 at multiple locations.

Are there any other solutions or am I just SOL? Thanks again!
