Hi All,

I've got a Fujitsu 9600 system I'm having a problem with, and only a limited knowledge of the commands to configure it. I'm using MML, but I'd love if anyone could point me in the direction of a copy of the EMML software.

My problem is that I took our voicemail computer offline for a little over an hour, reconnected it only to find that the 9600 faulting on DCU1 (if I recall correctly). I had assumed it would recover if I gave it enough time, but it's been about 16 hours and it's still not communicating fully with the VM system. Is there a way to restart the phone system using MML, and is this advisible? Or maybe I need the command to cancel the fault? I think I know the command to cancel a fault on a particular port, but I'm not sure if it will work in this instance. Any help you can offer is greatly appreciated!

Brian

Is the command to restore the port.
Let me know what release you have and I can get you a copy of emml.

Thanks, that's exactly what I needed to know!

Excuse my ignorance, but how can I tell what release I have through MML?

We appear to be using release 12.

Any guesses as to how old this system might be? I inherited it with this job, along with 4 other different types of phone systems (KSUs). I get the impression that this system is capable of supporting 1000s of stations, and that we're really not getting the most out of it with our scant 20 users. I think we must have gotten it for its DID capability, but I don't really know when that was.

Thanks again for the help, let me know what my EMML options are.

Brian

release 12 was the first to use a windows based emml.
I can send you a copy via e-mail or us mail.

What state are you located in?
I work for Altura formerly Fujitsu, we have locations coast to coast if you need further support.

I'm in New York state. I've heard of Altura of course. I'm not really sure how to contact you tho, since there don't appear to be any private message options on this board, and posting contact info is verboten.

The F9600 is capable of having 9600 extensions. This system is over kill for 20 users. Maybe you had more in th past? The switch is a very reliable switch though,a work horse!
