Greetings.

I am using a 3300 with 9.0 old system with 20 voice mail ports.

I need to make a call is answered by Menu Node and when an option is pressed the call is transferred to a group of extensions.

I created a mailbox as a Menu Node but can not make the calls being answered by the menu.

I tried to do what was explained in other threads, but it did not work. (In the last attempt, I created a mailbox with the number 8877 and the 8000 extension, a hunt group 8000, made a Reroute (always) in 8000 for the hunt group voice mail (7000) and did not work)
I read the help file but did not understand how to make it work.

I did not find it how to do this.

In short:

1. What do I need to create and make things work together. (mailbox, hunt group, Reroute always, menu types, recordings, voice mail configuration, etc.)

2. How to make work the Menu Node and the call transfers by each menu option.

Could you help me?

For some time I'm trying to figure out how to make it work but so far I could not.

I thought it was as simple as it seems.

Thank you in advance for your help.

You do not need any ACD licensing to use Paths with Rads and Dial out of queue routing.

The programming involved is much more complicated.

Suffice it to say that if we're having issues getting a Menu Node mailbox working, my hopes for an ACD solution are not high.

kwbMitel,

I have already installed a solution of ACD Path working with Contact Center and Intelligent Queue and today I give customer support for this solution.

The MLAA seemed to be simpler but it is not at all.

The help system is the only source of information about that and it does not give a good explanation on how to setup.

Wednesday I'll take a look at how a colleague managed to get MLAA to work in his business.

I've never done the ACD Path work without using acd agents licenses.

If I can not put to work MLAA I'll try to make an ACD Path with RADs without using acd agents.

I appreciate all your help and time.

Regards.

ACD MLAA

Here's an example

ACD path 8000 Sk group 900 Rad hunt group 9001 RAD member 9002

Record a greeting and assign it to a rad
Make that rad port a member of a rad hunt group 9002 ( limits lockups and you can then add multiple rads for more traffic handling)
Create a skill group 900 make sure 'queue callers to group when no local agents are logged in and preset 'is set to Yes ( stops the ACD path going into Unavailable)
create an acd path interflow dialling list ( 1) and set destinations
Create an acd path 8000 , set primary skill group to 900
delay to start time = 1 second
directory number 9001 ( rad group ) - this will play the message
set recording 1 path interflow dialling list to 1
Set release digit reciever depending upon your requirements

Thats basically it
call the acd path , after 1 second the rad should play ( which should have the message thanks for calling press 1 for sales 2 for service etc)
The user can then presss whatever digit and the call will follow the dialling list settings

No mucking around with mailboxes ..

If I never did anything I'd never done before , I'd never do anything.....

And Bill, that about 5 more steps than required by "mucking about"

As I said before, if we cant get MLAA to work, ACD method is not hopeful.
