as in the earlier thread, I unplugged power and removed battery, I have the system running almost the way I need it to BUT now when i dial ext 205 I get ext 147... I know i have missed something or didn't do something correctly... can anyone give me a clue on where to look or begin fixing this... I am new to this system and it is for a non profit organization (so I am not getting paid for this, it is just for a good cause)

Each extension is programmed separately by port.

My assumption would be that where you've programmed 205 used to be 147

I really didn't program it yet... Kinda just happened... Once I take a break I'll start with the lowest number extension and work my way from there

Then I would say the default extensions do not line up with the ones you need programmed

Thanks again for your help! I made a basic algorithm and followed it and it worked. Now I just need to connect to outside line and figure out how to set up system to dial 9 to reach outside line and I will be good to go on a basic level

It is likely your trunks are ground start as an FYI. It's a programmable bit in the trunk programming.

they were programmed ground as default, I have already changed them to loop, only issue I really have left is programming to dial 9 for outside line, I keep getting trunk alarms. This is a really fun project, frustrating at times, but fun nonetheless
