On our sx-200 there is already a trunk setup that connects to our paging system. ATT accesses this though ATT functions, trunks. I'm trying to simplify the access to this trunk for paging. I'd like to just either assign an extension that connects directly to the trunk or create an access code for that trunk.

How do I go about this? Trunk is already programmed in forms 14 and 16. I gathered from other posts that my next stop should be form 23, but I'm a bit lost there.

I also tried just connecting the paging system to standard extension, but that did not work; I call the extension and it goes straight to VM.

Any help or advice is appreciated.

form 23
[ul]
[li]Select unconfigured route[/li]
[li]Trunk group as configured in for 16[/li]
[li]COR Group - Blank[/li]
[li]Mod Digits Same Number as route[/li]
[/ul]

Form 22
[ul]
[li]For Modified Digit Table as defined above[/li]
[li]you need to delete the digits that will be dialed to access this trunk (say 2 - 88, for example)[/li]
[li][/li]
[/ul]

Form 26
[ul]
[li]Insert digits to be dialed - e.g. 88[/li]
[li]then go to nested digits esc-9[/li]
[li]Make an entry with No digits to analyse, 0 digits to follow, route type and termination as defined in form 23 above[/li]
[/ul]
