unable to migrate the restored file that u have selected please verify is an sx2000 database backup file.

this is what i get when i use migration in command tools mcd6.

i did a rsd filename to net.
i got the file in ftp filezilla.
what is the issue.
please help

Migration database from sx2000 to 3300 after release MCD 4.0 doubt you can.
The tech handbook can be misleading 3300 Rel 7.0 is not MCD 7.0
After MCD 4.0 data sync uses SDS prior it used Classic Mode via OPS Manager.
Note 3300 also requires licensing.

So to go from SX2000 you could restore to a release MCD4.0 and run the sds upgrade and then on to MCD7.0....? But I assume that if you have MCD 7.0 on the controller you should have access to back it down to release MCD 4.0 and the licences then are the only issue? Wonder if Mitel may give you free temp licences to do it. I'm not sure that the later licences will work on early releases.

guys i did a downgrade to mcd 4.2 the issue i have now is i connect to AMC i cant get the licenses.

it show blank. any idea please.

4.2 is too high, you have to go down to MCD 4.0. You will also have to go into the ARID in AMC and clear the hardware ID if you're already synched with AMC.

You will need MCD .40 and previous type licences. Later ones won't work.

If I understand correct you got a new MCD pack. If you bought the new license structure there is no way going back far enough.

the issue is i have a sx2000 with iver 750 extensions. a lot of programming.
i did a rsd copy to net sx2000-backup. i have the file on the desktop.
i have to do a migration to an mxe. can i do a conversion of the file.
in amc the license are mcd6.
i need a way to do maybe conversion.
i have 3300 cxi on the side.
thank u guys for your support.

I don't think a CXi will support that many phones. Don't have the THB handy.

Regardless, you are probably looking at hand punching. Not too big a deal with import spreadsheets and probably the best way to go.

What's most important is that you realise ... There is no spoon.

He might be able to use the ibutton temorarily from the CXi if it has licenses.
