Hi all,

Does anyone know how to setup Wireshark after you have checked the TCP/UDP traffic and enable Wireshark?

I have tried with the new version and version 1.7.1 from Wireshark.

Any help will be appreciated;

I'm not at work this week, so I cannot check my notes.
But from memory, you should use the 32bit version of wireshark.

the bases are rebadged ascom
found the attached online that details how to do handset captures

Not sure what kind of capture you were trying to do but the tecnique detailed in appendix D might help

If I never did anything I'd never done before , I'd never do anything.....

Hi all,

I have got this working on the latest Wireshark version (64 bit version)
I don't know why it now works but it does.

Thank you all for the replies!

Joekske,
Would you like to try to explain the steps you did?
That would help me too.
Maybe screenshots, if different?

Hello meneerB,

Sorry for the late response, but I hope this still helps you out.

1) in Wireshark go to manage interfaces. Go to the tab pipes.
2) Add a new pipe with the plus on the bottom and past the rpcap://*ip-address*/trace from the base station in to the field.

Now when you press oke and go back to the pipes tab you will see that the pipe is not saved.
What you have to do is add a new pipe after step 2. You can remove it or press oke, but now you will have the pipe added to the interfaces.
