Has anyone ever networked an IP office with a mitel 5000.
Its a connection over a mpls link.
I want to dial a hunt group from the 5000 and generate ringing at the ip office. This can then be transferred either by an operator on the ip office or delt with via a auto attendant.
Fron the ip office I want to seize a trunk group (get dial tone off the 5000) and then dial the ext.

Probaby will not get dial tone from the 5000, you may get extn dialling though, as the Mitel only supports SIP for linking other brand PBXs and it's absolute guess work making it work, just prgramming different SIP providers results in two totally different methods of programming trunk groups and route groups etc :)

Thanks for that. I'll give it a go.
