I have 130 Spectralink 8440’s configured on a Mitel 3300 ICP using SIP and we have an issue where the first call 90% of the time is placed on hold when you receive a call and press talk. You can either take the hold off by pressing the unhold button or call back and it works. On the second call it works nearly 100% of the time. The phones are using the latest firmware as well. We are using Cisco switches with a Cisco WLC and Cisco 1242 APs. QoS has been configured properly to receive and send through the Mitel server, see the tags with Wireshark.
